About Dr. Simone
Dr. Simone is licensed to practice psychology in both Connecticut and New York State.
She completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology through the Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York (CUNY).
Following graduate school, she completed a prestigious fellowship through Harvard Medical School where she worked with patients across the lifespan (6 years old - 90+ years old) at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital.
She has experience working with patients across the lifespan with various neurological, medical, and psychiatric presentations, including: ADHD, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorders, developmental/intellectual disabilities, genetic/chromosomal disorders, brain tumors/cancers, concussions and traumatic brain injuries, epilepsy, neurodegenerative conditions/dementia syndromes, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, stroke syndromes, among others.
She continues to collaborate with colleagues in research projects at different institutions. She previously taught college courses in the field of psychology and neuropsychology.
